DAY 30 - VITTEL - Rest Day (Tuesday 16 May)

People have been coming to Vittel to rest and relax since the nineteenth century. Today it was our turn. We have had a very restful rest day. We went out for a walk around lunchtime. There weren't many people around. Most of the shops were closed for lunch.

We took advantage of a fixed price three course meal that included this pistachio crème brûlée
After lunch we went for a wander, taking in some of the town's attractions.

We also managed some window-shopping
After what has been a particularly restful rest day, we should be ready to continue our progress tomorrow.
